HILVERSUM – It was an intimate and emotional memorial service on Sunday afternoon in the Dudok Park. Relatives of the fifteen Hilversum victims of the MH17 disaster gathered at the sunflower monument to commemorate their loved ones who died eight years ago. “Every year it is a beautiful day with sunshine, but for me July 17 will always have a black edge,” said Thomas Schansman, father of the eighteen-year-old Quinn who died.
