In Amsterdam, nearly 8 in 10 young women (77 percent) aged 12 to 25 have been harassed on the street in the past two years. That is one of the conclusions of a large national survey into street intimidation by Statistics Netherlands (CBS). On average, two-thirds in the Netherlands indicated that they were harassed on the street, so the average in Amsterdam is higher.
