Minimalist backpacks now also available as Mission Edition

GOT BAG’s mission is clear: Less plastic in the sea! The initiative of founder and CEO Benjamin Mandos stands for not only acting sustainably, but also actively bringing about change: On the Indonesian island of Java in Indonesia, the team actively collects plastic from the Indian Ocean with its own clean-up program and supports the development of Structures that prevent the plastic from getting into the sea in the first place. The plastic waste collected on site is recycled and processed into durable travel companions that will last a long time without ever going out of style.

With the limited MISSION EDITION, GOT BAG buyers can now carry this mission visibly on their back. The statement calls for questioning one’s own actions and bringing about change together. The product range will be temporarily expanded by six models. Both the iconic GOT BAG ROLLTOP, the NO!ROLLTOP and the popular SHOWER BAG are available as MISSION EDITION: The products in the colors Seaweed and Anemone are given a contemporary print that contrasts in color with the rest of the product. This highlights the amount of plastic removed from the environment to produce that specific product. By carrying the bag, the owners support the global GOT BAG clean-up activities and campaign for a circular economy and positive change.

With the request ‘Only together and united we can take action to save our oceans. Be part of this mission’, the backpacks and bags should encourage outsiders to take action, symbolize a more conscious use of resources and show that everyone can create added value for the oceans with their individual purchasing decision.

With the mission “Create an Impact”, GOT BAG is rethinking the circular economy and proving that it is not mutually exclusive to act economically and assume global responsibility. The innovative company is thus providing a holistic answer to a global problem: the innovative impetus from GOT BAG is a realistic chance that the amount of waste entering the sea will no longer exceed the recovered plastic many times over.

But not only with its value chain, but also with the high-quality, durable products, GOT BAG wants to make a statement against fast fashion and show that there is another way: GOT BAG offers customers so that the backpacks can be used for as long as possible without having to be bought later :innen also offers a free repair service if the durable backpacks should ever be damaged.
