Tickets for the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo 2026 have only been for sale for six days. But the rush is already big.
The Olympic Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo take place between 6 and 22, 2026. The interest seems to be great one year before the major event in Italy: the organizers were satisfied with the sale of the tickets so far.
“In the first six days, we sold almost 300,000 tickets”the head of the games, Andrea Varnier, said at a press date in Rome. There is a total of 1.6 million cards, the first sales phase started on February 6th.
In April the ticket sale will be opened for everyone
“For us this is a very encouraging beginning”emphasized Vary. Next week there will be a second round of sales by lottery, “Before the sale will be opened to everyone in early April, even for those who have not registered on the sales platform”.
According to Varnier, the organizers sold the most tickets “How more or less expected” to fans from Germany and the USA behind host country Italy.
