Celebrations for the Carolina Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricanes have come back with a comeback and a narrow victory in the Overtime in the final series for the Stanley Cup in the NHL reported back.

The team defeated on Friday night German time Vegas Golden Knights 4:3 after extra time. This means that after two games played it is in the “Best of seven”-Series now 1:1.

Hurricanes turn the game around

The Golden Knights had won 5-4 at the start, and things looked good in the second game too, with a 2-0 lead after the second period. But Carolina, which also enjoyed home advantage on Friday as the best team in the main round in the East, turned the match around in the third period before Vegas equalized shortly before the end. In overtime, Seth Jarvis became a celebrated hero for the Hurricanes with his winning goal.

“We managed our emotions excellently. I think we never got too carried away, never fell too deep, but just kept going.”said Jarvis: “And that’s exactly what I love about this team – we always come back.”

Game three of the series takes place on Sunday night German time, then for the first time the Vegas Golden Knights, fourth in the main round Western Conferencehome law. The second youngest team in the league was only founded in 2018 and is in the final for the third time, winning in 2023 Stanley Cup. Carolina was last champion in 2006.
