In November 2021, Mavi Phoenix announced his new record MARLON for February 25, 2022 – the title is a homage to his first name.

In April 2020 the Austrian musician released his debut album BOYS TOYS. After that it became quieter around him – until he returned to the spotlight with an appearance in Jan Böhmermann’s “ZDF Magazin Royale”. It was noticeable that his voice was much deeper than it was a year ago. Mavi Phoenix on Instagram:
After releasing my debut album last year, I started taking testosterone and took a year off to focus on writing new music. I had no idea what was going to happen to my body or my voice. Sure, doctors can tell you what could be happening, but everyone’s body responds differently to synthetic hormones. But I knew that this path would save my life, I knew that I had to become myself, Marlon.
With “Just An Artist” the fourth pre-single from MARLON was released at the end of January after “Leaving”, “Tokyo Drift” and “Grass And The Sun”:

The release of his second studio album will be followed by an extensive tour in spring, as far as Corona allows – the concerts in Germany and Switzerland will be presented by Musikexpress:
