Anyone who wanted to follow sports broadcasts on the pay TV offer on Saturday afternoon was in a fix. The station itself can only give the all-clear late.
The TV broadcaster Sky has apologized to fans for technical problems during the sports broadcast on Saturday. “Unfortunately, we have a technical problem, so many customers are currently unable to follow our broadcasts,” the broadcaster wrote on Twitter on Saturday afternoon. “We apologize and are working hard to fix it.”
During the games of the 2nd Bundesliga and during the Formula 1 qualifying for the French Grand Prix, numerous users complained about failures, malfunctions and error messages in the social networks. According to the broadcaster, customers who wanted to watch the broadcast of the pay-TV broadcaster on mobile devices or computers via Sky Go were affected.
Sky was only able to report on Twitter at 4:45 p.m.: “The technical faults in our streaming services have now been resolved. We are sorry that many of you were unable to follow your desired transmissions.” But by then the Formula 1 qualifying was almost over.
