On Wednesday (October 26), Marvel shared a teaser for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In the last few weeks there have been rumors about a collaboration with Rihanna, which would mean her comeback – her last album “Anti” was released in 2016.
Rihanna’s comeback in the soundtrack
Now the wait for the 34-year-old’s new tracks is over: This Friday she will drop the first single from the soundtrack to the Marvel film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” with “Lift Me Up”. The song is dedicated to the late “Black Panther” Chadwick Boseman and was produced by Ludwig Göransson.

The score for the new Marvel flick is said to be peppered with mega stars. Musicians such as Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Travis Scott and Jorja Smith could already be heard in the predecessor “Black Panther” (2018).

The production, directed by Ryan Coogler, opens in US theaters November 11. It is about the return of the heroes Nakia (Lupita N’Yongo), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett). Other roles include Daniel Kaluuya, Michaela Coel and Dominique Thorne.
