Martin Tetaz says that Madariaga is the best meat in the Province. Some might think that it is a compliment that he does just to look good with the person who is cooking the barbecue that he is going to eat after the interview with NOTICIAS, but the brand new radical deputy knows what he is talking about. It is that he is the son of a Madagarian, the town where the barbecue and the note take place, as well as being the place where he spent part of his childhood.
It is true that they are not all pleasant memories: Tetaz, when he was little, went to live there because his parents suffered an attack by Triple A in La Plata, where they had a bookstore with readings from the left seventies, and they had to take refuge in their hometown for a year and a half. In fact, it was on that transitory return to Madariaga that his brother, who was only four years old, died of poorly treated meningitis.

News: How do you live your debut as a deputy?
Martin Tetaz: I prepared myself for years studying the problems of Argentina and thinking of solutions, so I live it naturally. In addition, this Congress is going to get interesting, because suddenly López Murphy, Milei, Espert entered, people with a lot of media coverage and training. Now the Chamber has a rating, and people have the most focus on what happens there. Before the politician could be more divorced from reality and now people do not tolerate that.
News: And the historians of the Chamber, how did they receive it? Massa? Maximum?
bigtits: We are dangerous Miley, the López Murphys, the Tetaz: since we don’t know the old practices, we can go forward just by looking at the regulations. Massa is the second strongest political animal in the jungle, after CFK. It’s Frank Underwood from House of Cards. News: How does the UCR continue, after the breakup of the bloc and the strong discussions?
bigtits: Two of the six strong presidential candidates for 2023 are radicals, Lousteau and Morales, and prepare to win and rule. What happened in the Chamber is that we noted that there was a renewal within the party, and that it seemed to us that this renewal had to be noted in the Chamber as well. We come from a time when the UCR was in the back seat compared to the PRO, it had a voice but little vote. today andhe radicalism disputes power in many places, as a result of the new enthusiasm that there is. That generated a discussion, but it does not mean that we broke up neither Together for Change nor the UCR, which was demonstrated in the election of the UCR authorities where there was a unity list where our space participates.
News: But it was not just a parliamentary debate. Lousteau spoke of the UCR as a “misogynistic party.”
bigtits: One can do a lot of criticism and it’s okay to do so. Argentina is misogynistic, the spaces are dominated by men, but it is a reality that luckily is changing. And we also have to look inside the party. Now yes we are a modern party, now we are embracing the idea of the massive participation of women.
News: But Losteau and Morales almost punched each other to death.
bigtits: They are discussions. Let’s banish from now on the romantic version of politics, it’s not Los Ingalls. We are putting together a broad coalition, trying to amalgamate positions that have a guiding line but that also have differences.
News: How is the space alliance with Larreta?
Tetaz: It is a space that began in dispute with the City government. But at one point the rival becomes more important than the discussions between us, and now we work together on a political project that thinks about ending Kirchnerism, a decision that generated the possibility of working together and today radicalism co-governs the City. News: One of the great revelations of the campaign was your interventions with the t-shirts. How did it occur to you?
bigtits: It was made by a person who was Lanata producer before, and now he works with me. I prepared a lot of time for that debate, I am convinced that I demolished it topic by topic, but nobody talked about the argumentative question of the debate: everyone stayed with the image of the T-shirt, and that is a formidable communication lesson.
News: Did the protagonist of the shirt say something to you?
bigtits: Yes, Macri sent me a message the other day, laughing at what had happened and congratulating me on the disruptive nature of what I was doing, because it also encouraged me to come up with ideas.

bigtits: I haven’t thought of it yet, but communication always has to be disruptive.
