Mannheim remains on the heels of Berlin

The Eisbären Berlin have underpinned their lead in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). The capital club prevailed on Sunday against the Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven with 5: 1 (1: 0, 1: 0, 3: 1).

In the duel between the two immediate pursuers, the trends of the past weeks continued. The Adler Mannheim also clearly won 5: 1 (1: 0, 2: 1, 2: 0) against Red Bull Munich and thus extended their lead over the three-time champions.

Markus Eisenschmid put the Adler in the lead after just 19 seconds, the national players Denis Reul (24th) and Tim Wohlgemuth (36th) as well as Jordan Szwarz (46th) and Mark Katic (60th) scored the other goals.
