Man sets homeless person on fire at South Station in Brussels a few hours after leaving prison | Inland

The horrific scene, which took place at South Station in the night from Friday to Saturday around 03:30 am, has been fully captured by surveillance cameras. It shows how the man set fire to a homeless man – while he was sleeping – with a lighter. He had covered the homeless person with newspapers before that.

The victim – also a Pole – had to be taken to the burns center of the Queen Astrid military hospital in Neder-Over-Heembeek. There were severe burns on the man’s back.

The suspect was quickly arrested in the vicinity of the crime, according to SudInfo.
