A 31-year-old man from Den Bosch was arrested on Friday because he was allegedly involved in a shooting in Woerden at the end of last year. A 59-year-old man from that city was seriously injured.
The shooting took place on the night of November 15 to 16. Just after two hours, the police received a report of shots on Leidsestraatweg. The victim was taken into hospital later that night after a large amount of drugs was found in his home.
Since then, the police have been searching hard for the three suspects. On Thursday evening, the 31-year-old from Den Bosch could be arrested by the arrest team. The other two suspects have not yet been caught.
