At the beginning of this year, a man stole 2,000 euros worth of makeup from a Kruidvat branch in Eindhoven. The television program Opsporing Verzocht shows that the thief fills his shopping basket with cosmetic products from the brands L’Oréal and Maybelline just before closing time.
The thief seems to have thought carefully in advance before his visit to the Kruidvat on the Dirigentplein. First he looks around the drugstore extensively, before putting dozens of cosmetic products in a plastic bag in his shopping cart. All those items will then probably go into a prepared bag. The latter looked like a bag of dog food, as became apparent on Tuesday evening in Opsporing Verzocht.
It all happened on Saturday evening, January 3. In total, the man puts dozens of lipsticks and other cosmetic products in his bag. What is remarkable about the story? The man seems to have made his move not only in Eindhoven. There are also reports against the thief in Zoetermeer, Amersfoort, Vinkeveen, Leusden, Assendelft, Houten and Hilversum.
In Investigation Requested, the police ask people who have seen something or know more about the man to come forward. With their information, the police could solve more than ten crimes.
