Kyle Walker from Manchester City On Thursday (December 12, 2024) made public racist insults that he received after the Champions League game against Juventus. He called the comments on social media “disgusting.”
“No one should ever be subjected to vile, racist and threatening insults like I was after yesterday’s game”Walker wrote on Instagram and X. “Instagram and the authorities must act to prevent this from happening again – for the benefit of everyone who suffers such abuse. It is never acceptable.”
In an Instagram story, Walker published screenshots of two of the insults he received after Manchester City’s 2-0 defeat in the Champions League against Juventus.
“Do not tolerate any form of discrimination”
His club Manchester City, which has been in a sporting crisis for weeks and has lost seven of the last ten games, condemned the hostility. “We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, whether in stadiums or online.”said the English football champion.
