PARIS (dpa-AFX) – Statesman with stubble, jeans and a hooded sweatshirt: French President Emmanuel Macron had his picture taken in an informal look in the Lyse Palace during his diplomatic efforts in the Ukraine war. The pictures by the lyse photographer Soazig de la Moissonniere show Macron, unshaven and with dark circles under his eyes, with files under his arm on Sunday and at his desk in the magnificent rooms of the Parisian government palace. On Sunday he phoned US President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj, among others.
Macron’s outfit also has a military touch: the “CPA 10” logo on his black hoodie stands for a French paratrooper special unit used for commando operations, reconnaissance and special reconnaissance.
Macron (44), who usually moves impeccably elegantly on the national and international stage, is often photographed in casual wear. During a corona infection, for example, he showed himself in a video in a sweater. He also played football at a charity game in the fall.
