“Lynching” a deputy: “shocking footage of unheard-of violence”

In France, parliamentarian Stéphane Clareau was stoned to death by protesters against sanitary passes. The incident took place in the overseas community of Saint Pierre and Miquelon.

The official went out onto the porch to talk to the protesters. Radically minded citizens did not listen to him. In response, they pelted the deputy with lumps of algae and pebbles, France Into reports.

The country’s government expressed support for the official. They believe that the deputy was lynched in front of his family home. The government noted that they saw deeply shocking footage of unheard of violence. Now the deputy will be protected by law enforcement officers.
