Luis Enrique is coach of the year

Luis Enrique has won the 2015 Football Coach of the Year award. The head coach of FC Barcelona prevailed at the Fifa Gala against Pep Guardiola and the national coach of Chile, Jorge Sampaoli. Enrique had won five out of six possible titles with the Catalans last year, including the triple of national championship, cup and Champions League. Like Guardiola, he did not come to the ceremony in Zurich’s Kongresshaus. Enrique succeeds national coach Joachim Löw (2014) and former Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes (2013), who have won the award in the past two years.
