A 16-year-old snowboarder fell from a chair lift at a ski resort in the US state of California. According to witnesses, the girl was not sitting properly in her seat, which caused her to slide further and further away. After a while she dangled from the bottom of the seat lift. It was shut down for safety reasons and some volunteers set up a safety net under her.
