There has been a major clash in the Flemish Parliament between Minister of the Environment Zuhal Demir (N-VA) and Stefaan Sintobin of Vlaams Belang. During a discussion about the possible relaxation of the Flemish nitrogen agreement, the background of the minister was mentioned at a certain point. When Sintobin had the floor, Demir ostentatiously pinched her nose. That did not go down well with the West Flemish member of parliament.
