“All of Clapham’s (south London) postal workers accidentally ate hash brownies today and I had to pick them up one by one because they were stoned,” read the caption of the now-deleted video, British media reported.
The video showed a postman struggling to get his cart forward and heard a colleague yell, “You’re stoned.” A postman was then seen sitting on the floor. A colleague said: “He ate two”, to which the postman on the floor replied: “I ate four”.
The Royal Mail is taking the matter seriously. It investigates the circumstances and determines whether disciplinary sanctions are necessary. The brownies would come from a postal package that had been there for a month. It read ‘Edibles by Pablo Chocobar’.
