Podcaster Lloyd Libiso tells in the latest Big Thing -podcast episode about a situation that happened at Christmas where he had to be resuscitated.
Libiso says that he was with his group of friends at a bar in Nummela on Christmas day, when they were joined by three unknown women.
The evening went in a good atmosphere until the bartender noticed that one of the women stayed in the toilet longer than usual. Two other women and the bartender went to check on their friend, and soon they alarmed Libiso.
– That’s when a small child of panic started to emerge, Libiso describes the situation.
Libiso says that he went to the women’s bathroom and saw a woman lying on a bed. He tried to wake her up, but she was unresponsive. Libiso checked the pulse and the pain response and noticed:
– I thought, oh shit, this is lifeless.
Libiso says that he dragged the woman from the toilet to the dance floor of the bar and started CPR. At the same time, he says that he called the emergency number.
In the episode, he very graphically describes the moment when he and his two friends revived the woman.
– With the thick fingers of the timpur, he opens (the woman’s) mouth, even though the jaws are completely stuck, so that air can be blown in there.
– It involves resuscitation, resuscitation, resuscitation, the cartilages bang when I press, he describes.
Libiso says that during resuscitation it is typical for the cartilage between the ribs to pop. According to him, sometimes ribs can also break in resuscitation situations.
– Then suddenly, like a Christmas miracle. This lady rises.
Libiso says that he was very confused by the situation. He says that he has often been in resuscitation situations, but describes it as rare that the person to be resuscitated rises from the floor like in “American movies”.

In July 2024, Lloud Libiso found itself in the middle of a big uproar when it opened Ivan Puopolo Yle’s internal diversity practices on the YouTube channel. According to Libiso, at least Ylex’s employees were forced to participate in more diversity training. Libiso’s experiences differed from Yle management’s previous comments to the media.
Libiso told Iltalehte in the spring that he grew as a person with the commotion.
– When you can now look at it from a distance, the different storms and storms in a person’s life come together to strengthen, grow and teach a lot, he reflected.
As a result of the uproar, Libiso was dismissed from his hosting duties as the weekend host of the Ylex radio channel, and in October Yle confirmed that he will no longer host Ylex’s programs.
Libiso remembered that the kicks felt hard at the time, but in the spring he was neutral about it.
– I know how things have been: it was true what I told. They tried to hide those trainings. They said they haven’t been mandatory, even though we had, the man said.
– But go ahead, said Mannerheim. In this life, it’s not worth getting bitter and thinking about such things endlessly, he stated.
