Linda de Mol is a total loss in the guardrail because she was cheated by Jeroen Rietbergen and received some criticism from Angela de Jong. Has she recovered in time for the Million Hunt presentation?
Albert Verlinde points out in Shownieuws that the new season of Miljoenenjacht should start in one and a half months. “On March 27, the first episode of a new series will be released and that is the program of Linda de Mol, so everyone is now wondering: what will happen?”
‘Let’s hope!’
Everyone hopes that the shame will be gone from Linda’s jaws in time, Albert knows. “Of course she has indicated that after everything that has happened she is actually retiring for the time being, but how long is that for the time being and will she be back for Million Hunt? Well, I called around a bit with the producer and the people around it.”
What do those people say? “Everyone really assumes she’s there. They sincerely hope she’s there and they don’t even want to think that she wouldn’t be there, you know? Let’s hope so, because it really is her program and I think she’s doing a phenomenal job. They all hope she’s there.”
Winston’s plan B
Yet a Linda-less season is not broadcast. “Of course a plan B is always appointed, but they don’t even want to talk about it, but I’ll fill that in: Winston Gerschtanowitz did it once. He actually always puts the bags at the end, which he rings the doorbell with the home winner.”
Winston then surprises a viewer at home with an amount of money. “Another wonderful moment in the program”, Talpa’s yelp Albert exults. “He took over the program once, I believe in 2013, when Linda’s father passed away. That was actually the only time she didn’t present the program.”
Fantastic
Actually, Winston could do just fine, says Albert. “Winston then took over the program and he did a fantastic job. Well, it’s nice to have that backstop.”
But, he emphasizes: “Everyone just hopes that Linda is back in her trusted place at Miljoenenjacht. We sincerely hope so.”
