R. Kelly (58) has compassion for Sean “Diddy” Combs (55) – despite many differences – because this is also in the sights of the judiciary. Kelly’s lawyer Beau Brindley is now accusing the US authorities of making black entertainers in particular the goal of criminal investigations.

Lawyer: “The authorities abuse the law.”

Brindley emphasizes, Kelly and “Diddy” are not friends – “Under no circumstances”, as he clarifies before “TMZ”. However, the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer also feels the suffering that “Diddy” experiences in the context of his process: “Diddy” must be responsible for extortion, sexual assault and human trafficking and, in the event of a conviction with decades of imprisonment. R. Kelly has already served a total penalty of 31 years in prison, for extortion, sexual human trade, child pornography and recruitment of minors.

The lawyer Brindley also accuses of the actions of the federal authorities: “Feds (authorities) abuse criminal law by pursuing what is happening in secret,” Brindley told “TMZ”. He is certain: “Black entertainers in particular are targeted here.” The investigators would use the personal sexual preferences as a decisive criterion – something that, in his opinion, has no place in criminal law.

R. Kelly hopes for pardon by Trump

Brindley also endeavors to reach Donald Trump for R. Kelly. He is optimistic because Trump also knew what it means to be in the “focus” of the authorities: “I hope Kelly may actually have a chance because Trump understands him,” said Brindley.

After all, there is already speculation about whether Trump could be pardoned “Diddy”, since the two were in contact with each other in the past – 50 cents promptly spoke out on Instagram against pardon.

Danger to life in prison: Kelly in isolation

In addition, there is the latest concern that a murder plot against Kelly is planned. Neo-Nazis (“White Supremacists”) should threaten him, kill him or want to poison him. Since then, Kelly has been afraid to eat from Paranoia. The prison management therefore housed him in solitary confinement for his own protection.

However, the lawyer Brindley had requested that this areolation to get him out of this isolation and put it under house arrest – but the responsible court has not yet made a decision. “Diddy’s” own process is now underway – the 22nd day of negotiation is already underway. However, it remains unclear whether “Diddy” also has to add to the “Club of the convict”.
