The Laver Cup will be held again in London in 2026. As the organizers announced, the tournament will take place in the O2 Arena from September 25th to 27th. The British capital was hosting as early as 2022 – at that time Roger Federer played his last official match there.
“My last match in 2022 was full of emotions and unforgettable memories-surrounded by my teammates who were also my biggest rivals-it was all I hoped for,” said the 20-time Grand Slam winner and Laver Cup co-founder Federer. “I am really looking forward to returning to such a meaningful place, this time as a fan, and the incredible Laver Cup atmosphere to experience again.”
This year’s event, in which the best players in Europe and the “rest of the world” compete against each other in a team format, will be held from September 19th to 21st in San Francisco. The event took place in Berlin last year.
The Laver Cup designed by Federer and co -organized has been held since 2017.
World ranking points cannot be won at the invitation tournament, but the event, which is named after the Australian tennis legend Rod Laver, is lucrative for the chosen professionals. Numerous top sponsors support the event.
