She also does not want a simple repetition of The Fame. “Ultimately, however, I decided that I really wanted to do it and that this sound style and this aesthetics really belong to me,” she says in an interview with the “New York Times”. It was the music that helped her “fall in love with the music”.
In the same interview, the 38-year-old also spoke about how art in the music world is often connected directly to the image of an artist and its “brand”. “It started to work on how I made music,” she says in this regard. When I moved to Hollywood and played my music for Interscope for the first time, there were conversations about how to look. And you think: ‘I will be. How will you get dressed? ‘ Well, I will wear what I usually wear when I’m on stage. They teach you to consider the whole thing as a business and not as a performance. “
Now she is her own boss
Although Lady Gaga has been active in the music industry since her youth and has long since established itself as a world star, it took a long time until she felt like this. “I am sure that this sounds strange to people because they see you at the top of the world and think that you are the boss, but as a woman in the music industry, I would say that it took me 20 years to become the boss.
