Kaluga Governor Vladislav Shapsha in his Telegram channel announced on the withdrawal of the region from the federal program to assist the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad

The governor decided to visit the local migration center without warning and talk to the migrants. There, he suddenly found out that some of those who had already received the certificate could not speak Russian – although knowledge of the language should be a prerequisite.

“In the morning, without warning, I drove into the Multifunctional Migration Center in the Borovsky District. The first “guest from the south” that came across. He clearly does not speak Russian. But, oh miracle! A certificate of knowledge of the Russian language in his hands … He did not understand at all what I was asking him! In Russian, not a belmes! ”- this is how Shapsha described his visit.

“He has made a decision. From today, all documents from migrants who, in fact, do not know our language, but provide fake certificates, will be sent by the migration center to the internal affairs bodies for verification,” wrote Shapsha.
