Kadyrov said he had no desire to be president or minister

The fact that Russia should take Ukraine, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Radyrov, argued “like a blogger” and “an ordinary person,” he said in Telegram. The Kremlin, commenting on the words of Kadyrov, previously recalled that foreign policy is the business of the president

The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, sees himself neither as the president of Russia, nor as a minister, nor in any other position at the federal level. About this he wrote in Telegram.

“I have always said and I repeat that I do not see myself in federal positions in any capacity – neither as a president, nor as a minister, etc. My place is here, in the Chechen Republic, and I won’t leave here!”, the head of Chechnya wrote.

Kadyrov also added that he talked about how Russia should act in relation to Ukraine, not as the head of the Chechen Republic, but as a “blogger” and “an ordinary person.” “If I need to say something as the head of the region, I will say so: “I say this, the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov,” he said.

The head of Chechnya also added that he still believes that Russia should defend its interests “until it had to defend them on its own territory.”

Kadyrov spoke about relations between Russia and Ukraine during a live broadcast with the participation of Chairman of the Chechen Parliament Magomed Daudov. In his opinion, Russia should have “taken away” Ukraine long ago and put things in order there, and the desire of the United States to place a new base on the territory of Ukraine led to an aggravation in relations between the two countries as a whole. If the citizens of Ukraine do not oppose this idea, then Russia should do it, he believes.
