Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov compared events in Kazakhstan with the scenario of the start of military campaigns in Chechnya and called on the Kazakh people not to destroy the state.

During a joint live broadcast on Instagram with the speaker of the Chechen parliament, Magomed Daudov, on January 5, the head of the republic said that the Chechens are not indifferent to the fate of Kazakhstan. “My father was born there, my grandfather’s brother is buried there. Our brotherly Kazakhstani people gave us shelter in the most difficult times,” Kadyrov recalled.

He addressed the protesters with an appeal to behave “as peacefully as possible” and not to destroy the state and the economy, noting that for the commission of crimes: pogroms, riots, by beating law enforcement officers – punishment will certainly follow.

“We know what war is, what rallies are,” Kadyrov said, recalling the events in Chechnya 30 years ago. He accused representatives of the special services of different states of destabilizing the situation in the republic, whose task was “to destroy the sovereign state of Russia through the Chechen Republic.”

“Therefore, we, the Chechen people, led by the leadership, ask them to think better so that our brothers do not make mistakes, so that they stop and do not bring the situation to military events,” the head of Chechnya made an appeal to the residents of Kazakhstan.

He also called for those leading the protests to stop, as the president accepted the government’s resignation and the government cut gas prices. “Fear the Almighty, you are responsible for this in the next world,” said Kadyrov.
