Seven years ago this month, the world was rocked by the horrific attack on the Charlie Hebdo office. The staff of the satirical French magazine was mowed down after it dared to ridicule the prophet. In our open western society, satire is a valued art form. But for Muslim extremists, who are parasitic on that open society, it was blasphemy and therefore the cause of a massacre.
