Johan Derksen thinks that the today inside guests who have crossed to RTL Tonight, including Albert Verlinde and Lale Gül, have an incredible amount of regret. “They are there like Mongols.”
It is unprecedented how quickly the very expensive prestige project RTL Tonight already turns out to be a flop: the TV viewer is not going hot for it. Would Johan Derksen recommend anyone to go there? “No, I would not recommend that, because RTL is led by Peter van der Vorst. He cannot sit in the viewer’s chair at all.”
Mongols
Peter does not know what the viewer wants, Johan says at the table Today Inside. “Lubach put it there, but that refers to Dirk as a cunt. That is really a VPRO artist and the RTL audience finds him a crazy. They don’t like him at all. Then you have to watch Lubach completely and then you get that boring stuff.”
He refers to RTL Tonight. “Where everyone can turn his prayer in turn and that evening does not come. That talk show is three days old and has already failed, so you should not go there. Those poor people who functioned well here are like Mongols behind a table and do not speak.”
Unhappy
Johan thinks that Albert Verlinde and Lale Gül have made a mistake. “Those people are very unhappy. I am sure that Lale Gül and Albert are very unhappy. They do have the pocket full of RTL, because they have not been childish, but you also have to enjoy your work a bit.”
Are Lale and Albert still welcome at VI if RTL Tonight was removed from the tube? Yes, Johan says. “We see it overlooking them.”
An end search
Table guest Raymond Mens thinks that RTL Tonight has been written down. “I think it’s normally silly to piss something very quickly, but if you end up with something of 280 thousand viewers, then the end is lost.”
Johan thinks RTL has to get rid of Die Arjen Lubach. “I find him annoying that Lubach. I really can’t smile about it. I think it’s a crazy, a clown.”
Scare away
Raymond points out that RTL Tonight sometimes only starts at 10.45 pm through Lubach. “Yes, I think a lot of people are already gone before they start at all.”
Finally, Johan: “Yes, you are chasing the RTL audience away. If Lubach were to be in front of us, nobody would watch anymore.”
