Japan protests North Korea over ballistic missile launch

The Japanese government protested to the DPRK because of the launch of an unknown projectile. This was stated by the Secretary General of the Japanese government Hirokazu Matsuno during a briefing, transmits Nikkei Asia newspaper. According to the Minister of Defense of Japan, the projectile may be a ballistic missile.

“The launch of a ballistic missile and the launches that preceded it pose a threat to our country, region and the international community. This series of launches violates UN resolutions and we strongly protest these actions by North Korea,” Matsuno said.
