The head of the Israeli Ministry of Health, Professor Nachman Ash, has allowed medical personnel and residents of the country over 60 years of age to be vaccinated against coronavirus for the fourth time. About it informs The Israeli Ministry of Health on Twitter.
Authorities explained such a decision by the need to protect these categories of people as the most vulnerable to the coronavirus. The fourth dose will be given if at least four months have passed since the third shot.
Previously specialists recommended authorities to take the appropriate decision and reduce the time between the introduction of vaccine doses from five months to four in preparation for the fifth wave of coronavirus.
