An incident happened on Tuesday in the match between Kouvola Ballonlöjie and Manse PP of the Men’s Superpesis.
According to Manse PP’s press release, a person belonging to KPL’s club management yelled very derogatory insults aimed at a person at Manse’s player. In addition to the stands, the screams were carried to the ears of the player in question on the field.
Manse says that he strongly condemns all non-game harassment directed at a person. Manse expects a quick and appropriate reaction from the Pesäpalloliito, Superpesis and KPL.
The club also brought up the issue of harassment at the end of last season at the Superpesis club managers’ meeting as a result of the events of the final matches.
On Wednesday, KPL announced on its website that it was investigating inappropriate behavior. The club added that it does not accept bullying or harassment in any form.
