The Roskomnadzor service for checking the restriction of access to sites and pages of sites has received data on the use of blocking in relation to Twitter. Measures are introduced at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
“Please note that the presence of an Internet site in the Registry does not mean a complete restriction of access to it, since access may be limited to a separate page of the site on the Internet. The blocking method is reflected in the “Access Restriction” column, the registry says.
However, the extract from the registry states that access is “restricted to the site.”
Roskomnadzor has not yet officially announced the measures.
