The Special Olympics Noord were kicked off today in the Sorghvliethal in Veendam. Many participants from Drenthe were also present at this opening event.
In total, more than 200 athletes participated in numerous activities organized by various organizations and institutions. Today, among other things, table tennis, shuffling and Boccia were on the program. And at the end of the day, all athletes went home with a well -deserved medal as a reminder.
