10th place: Greece
The winner of the 2004 European Championship in Portugal was Greece. Under coach Otto Rehhagel, who was celebrated as Rehakles, the team surprisingly won the European Championship as outsiders with a 1-0 win against the host country Portugal.

9th place: Denmark

7th place: Czech Republic/Czechoslovakia
The former Czechoslovakia won a final of the European Football Championship in 1976. At that time, Germany was defeated in the host country Yugoslavia on penalties. The team from the Czech Republic also managed to become European runner-up once.

6th place: Portugal

In 1960, when the European football nations were visiting France, the Soviet Union took home the trophy after beating Yugoslavia 2-1 after extra time. Furthermore, the Soviet Union team came second three times and reached the semi-finals six times.

4th place: France
France has already successfully completed two European Football Championship finals. The Equipe Tricolore won the final against Spain 2-0 in their own country for the first time in 1984. 2nd place: Germany
