IMF Calls On El Salvador To Stop Bitcoin, And Can’t Do Its President A Greater Service

Central American El Salvador has to eliminate bitcoin as legal tender. That is what the International Monetary Fund said in a recommendation on Monday. There was no way the international lender could have encouraged Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele more to continue with the cryptocurrency. Two days earlier, the country bought 410 bitcoins worth about 13.5 million euros.
