Iberia ground crew in Spain will go on strike | Abroad

The reason for the strike is that Iberia has lost almost all its ground handling contracts and that ground staff fear that working conditions will deteriorate under new employers.

The unions want Iberia to at least handle the handling for parent company IAG, which in addition to Iberia also includes British Airways, Level, Vueling, Aer Lingus and Air Nostrum. Iberia rejected this from a cost perspective.
