SC Paderborn started the new season with a brilliant home win and is first in the table. Thanks to an outstanding second half, the East Westphalians won 5-0 (0-0) against Karlsruher SC on Sunday and celebrated the long-awaited success in their own stadium.
After a weak first half, Florent Muslija scored from the penalty spot (56th), Robert Leipertz (65th), Julian Justvan, Felix Platte (72nd) and Sirlord Conteh (75th) in front of 9,399 spectators for the deserved success of the Paderborn team literally rolled over the declining KSC at the end.
Hansa Rostock – 1 FC Heidenheim 0:1
