Robert Glatzel (29) could become a bargain next summer if Hamburger SV misses their return to the Bundesliga again. “Sport Bild” reports that the striker has an exit clause in his contract that applies in the event of non-promotion and is below the market value of 2.5 million euros.

Last summer, Glatzel extended his contract, which originally ran until 2024, by another year after rumors of a move to the Bundesliga and in particular to promoted FC Schalke 04. In addition to Glatzel, according to “Sport Bild”, there is also an exit clause in the contract of teammate Ludovit Reis (22), which also applies in the event of non-promotion. The fee for the Dutch U21 national player should not be below but above the market value of EUR 5 million – making Reis the most valuable player in the second division.
