Walter: “A challenge to prove yourself again immediately”

HSV too changeable in its performance
The 46-year-old did not speak of the at least mathematically possible intervention in the promotion race. He knows the inconsistent performances of his team in recent weeks better than anyone. The year had started promisingly, with a draw and then three wins in a row – including the city derby success. But the subsequent five games without a win (three defeats) were the decisive setback.

With four games to go, HSV can only hope and do their homework – starting with Jahn Regensburg. Walter has respect for the force of the ninth-placed man, who has fought the most duels in the league so far: “Regensburg is always dangerous. We know that. At the same time we know that we can play against them and of course we go there to win.”
HSV will have no other choice if the equation is to work out and the minimal residual hope of promotion is to live on.
