The Hanseatic League was completely out of control in the early stages, but recovered after just over half an hour and equalized the game within two minutes. Jatta’s goal was preceded by a wonderful move, Bénes’ goal came after an exemplary counterattack.

In the second half, HSV was indisposed again. The result was that we were once again behind a few seconds after the restart. The Walter team fought back again. Jatta set up Glatzel’s goal after a fine solo effort. The goalscorer slotted in easily. HSV was then unable to counter Wanitzek’s goal.

Greuther Fürth – Holstein Kiel 2:1

Fürth only showed up after more than half an hour, but then immediately with three chances in a row from Hrgota and twice from Green (35th/36th/37th). Kiel became dangerous through Machino, who shot over the box alone in front of goalkeeper Urbig (41′).

The equalizer came after a mistake by Urbig, who missed a corner. Erras thanked him and nodded off. A nice direct shot from Hrgota from 18 meters brought victory for the Franconians.

Eintracht Braunschweig – 1. FC Magdeburg 1-0

With a show of will, the Lower Saxony team took the lead. After a wild poke in the Magdeburg penalty area, in which Braunschweig scored several times, it was ultimately Bičakčić who scored.

As a result, both teams gave each other nothing. There were chances on both sides, especially in the first half. In the second half the air ran out a bit. The yellow-red card for Elfadli weakened Magdeburg. In the end, Braunschweig missed the decision several times, but still won.
