The HSV is looking for another keeper for the departure of Matho Raab (26) to the 1. FC Union Berlin. Behind Daniel Heuer Fernandes (32), service provider in the promotion year, only the talents Hannes Hermann (20) and Fernando Dickes (17) are currently available. It is still open whether Peretz as a new regular keeper or challenger for this year Fernandes is planned. Finally, it was actually said that after two years on Bayern Bank or in the hospital with just seven missions, he wanted to show his skills regularly.
Initially, PSV Eindhoven was the favorite for a Peretz transfer, but the Dutch champion won Matej Kovar (25) from Bayer Leverkusen. After that, the Genoa CFC in particular was acted as a candidate, and it is said to have already agreed. However, the Grifoni recently confirmed the extension of the loan with the Swiss Benjamin Siegrist (33, Rapid Bucharest) until summer 2026. Stem keeper Nicola Leali (32) was one of the best keepers in Serie A last season and kept his box ten times at the midfield club.
In the past 20 years there have been some players who took the step to HSV from FC Bayern – to gain a foothold in the Bundesliga or 2nd league or to be a regular. For Piotr Trochowski (2005), Paolo Guerrero (2006), Julian Green (2014) or Adrian Fein (2019), the latter for Marcell Jansen (2008) and Sven Ulreich (2020) Peretz is likely to be the next in the series and the total eleventh player since Bundesliga was founded in 1963, who goes this way.
