Hamburger SV have signed their third winter signing: The 20-year-old Hungarian striker Andras Nemeth comes from KRC Genk to the runners-up in the 2nd Bundesliga and has been given a contract until the summer of 2026.
The Hanseatic League, who start the second half of the season against Eintracht Braunschweig on Sunday (1:30 p.m. / Sky), announced this on Friday.
“Andras is a modern center forward who, in addition to his finishing quality, is also characterized by his understanding of the game. We already dealt with him in the summer and see him as a player who has a complex development potential,” said sporting director Jonas Boldt: “In the talks It was impressive to see how intensively he dealt with HSV and our game idea.”
HSV had previously loaned central defender Javi Montero (Spain) from Besiktas, while left-back Noah Katterbach came to the Elbe from 1. FC Köln.
