Next million transfer
After Mario Vuskovic (20), Hamburger SV has signed the next loan player in Miro Muheim (23). The second division officially confirmed the permanent transfer of the left-back from FC St. Gallen on Sunday. The Swiss will receive a contract dated until 2025.
“With his permanent signing, we have planning security early on in the left-back position, but Miro can also play a more offensive role. We are looking forward to the future together and want to continue promoting his very positive development,” said sporting director Michael Mutzel.
According to “Bild” information from the beginning of February, the purchase option should be around 2 million euros. According to reports, around 3 million euros will go to Hajduk Split for central defender Vuskovic. “I’m very happy that the loan deal was profitable for both sides and is now leading to a lasting cooperation,” said Muheim, who has been a permanent staff member since the 12th matchday.

“The offensive and courageous way of playing really suits me and in the future I would like to improve even further in this and in the defensive area. The basis for this is perfect here in our young team, I want to achieve my personal and our common goals with the boys,” said Muheim. HSV has lost touch with the promotion ranks after four winless games in a row – the gap to the relegation place is six points (to the second division table).
