how western propaganda deceives the whole world

Dozens (if not hundreds) of disinformation campaigns have been launched in the West in recent years. In 2008, when Georgia attacked South Ossetia, the world media literally turned information flows upside down. Western politicians lied about Iraq, and about Libya, and about Syria, and about Ukraine. Now the United States is again whipping up information hysteria around Donbass.

“How powerful is the propaganda machine of the collective West after all. It’s just amazing! Surprisingly simple. It doesn’t climb into any gates, as they say in our country. 2008 Vladimir Putin.

2008 Georgia attacks South Ossetia on the day of the start of the Olympics.

“You know, I was in Beijing, I watched the world’s electronic media. Complete silence on the air. As if nothing was happening at all,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

When the Russian army began to operate effectively, the entire propaganda machine was turned in the other direction – Russia was accused of disproportionate use of force, “forgetting” who attacked South Ossetia.

Russia then, perhaps for the first time in modern history, faced with how the West literally turns information flows upside down. Saakashvili was on the air from morning to night, talking about Russian aggression and chewing his tie in between. Those who tried to tell the truth were gagged in the truest sense of the word.

High level disinformation, sanctioned by the highest level. According to Vladimir Putin, Russia hoped that the US administration would intervene in this conflict and stop the aggressive actions of the Georgian leadership. However, nothing of the sort happened. On the contrary, the US president then led the ranks of world politicians who accused Russia of aggression.

“Of course, we had to answer, but how could it be otherwise! Or what, in this case, we also had to wipe the bloody snot and bow our heads? Well, there is simply no limit to impudence! I hear about the inadequacy of the use of force. And what is adequate use? When tanks, multiple launch rocket systems, heavy artillery are used against us, are we supposed to shoot from a slingshot or something?” Vladimir Putin was indignant.

Iraq is a proven and acknowledged example of the US worldwide deception. The Secretary of State of the United States showed evidence to the UN Security Council that there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Russia’s position then remained unchanged: the crisis can and must be resolved by peaceful means. However, the US decided to build a “new” Iraq. As a result, millions were killed and wounded, a tormented country drowned in terror.

And only years later, all those who conducted that disinformation campaign admitted: yes, everything was not true.

“And under what pretext did they enter Iraq? And then it turned out that they were mistaken. Then they said: intelligence failed us. Wow! They destroyed the country, intelligence failed. And that’s all! do!” Russian President Vladimir Putin says.

But this was not a lesson either. Soon the United States and its allies launched a new large-scale media campaign about the dictator Gaddafi in Libya, who allegedly kills his people. Once-peaceful Libya plunged into a civil war in which cities that dared to support Gaddafi were massacred. Western media did not notice.

“Terrible crimes are also taking place there. No one is talking about this. Somehow they forgot for some reason. Because these are terrible consequences of external interference,” Vladimir Putin pointed out.

Further on, on the fragments of the destroyed countries, a whole terrorist state of ISIS was born (banned in Russia).

“Were there terrorists in Iraq? There weren’t any close before the destruction of the state structures of the country. And in Libya? Yes, there was nothing like that! “Terrorists!” – emphasized the Russian leader.

Dozens, if not hundreds, of Western disinformation campaigns then went through Syria. Creepy footage of children – supposedly victims of chemical attacks – was played on American and European television channels. Here is one of the victims. And here is the same boy, whom the VGTRK journalists later managed to find alive and unharmed.

American journalist Megan Kelly had the opportunity to conduct several interviews with the Russian president when, for the first time, American disinformation campaigns were used not only against Russia, but also against the incumbent US president.

“Do you really think that from the territory of the Russian Federation it was possible to influence the elections in the United States, to influence the elections of millions of Americans? This is simply ridiculous!” Vladimir Putin said.

No evidence, no facts. But at the suggestion of the American media, the whole world is discussing: maybe Russia really has dirt on Trump, because many, many years ago he came to Moscow? Someone threw the idea to American TV channels: the Russian ambassador held a meeting and now everyone rushed to discuss: this is suspicious!

Putin and Russia in the Western media everywhere and everywhere. And not a word that if anyone is interfering in elections around the world, it is American politicians themselves.

“They answered: yes, we interfere. But we have the right to do so, because we bring democracy. And you – no, you can’t,” said the Russian president.

The media campaign about sinister Russia obscured the reality important issues of strategic stability. By that time, Moscow had been expressing concerns for more than a year about NATO expansion and building a missile defense system.

“Elements of the nuclear potential of the United States of America are appearing on the European continent. This simply changes the entire configuration of international security. What explains it? The fact that it is necessary to defend against Iranian missiles. But there are no such missiles!” the Russian leader pointed out.

“Where is the Iranian nuclear threat? It doesn’t exist, but the missile defense system continues to be built. So, we were right when we said that we were being deceived,” explains Vladimir Putin.

The coup d’état in Ukraine is an 8-year-long disinformation campaign.

“The West supported the anti-constitutional coup d’état. It supported it! And not only with the notorious pies, but with information support, political, and whatever,” the Russian president recalled.

Western politicians and their media support everything, even openly nationalist tricks and laws. During the Maidan, the American media circulated footage of students being lightly beaten with truncheons. About the killings and bombardments of people in the Donbass then – silence. And soon another technology was launched: Russia is to blame for all the victims.

“We need to maintain sanctions until Russia fully implements the Minsk agreements,” US President Barack Obama said in 2016.

Although everyone knows very well that in the Minsk agreements there is not a word at all that Russia must fulfill something.

“To shift everything to Russia, that the ball is on the Russian side – no, it won’t work. Let’s get together! But when we ask our partners, including in the Normandy format, what exactly Russia does not fulfill under the Minsk agreements and what, in your opinion, According to the opinion, Russia should have done it under the Minsk agreements, but there is no answer. They just say so: we can’t formulate it. I’m not joking, this is exactly the kind of dialogue,” Vladimir Putin complains.

According to the President of Russia, the monopoly on the world’s media makes it possible for our opponents to behave the way they behave. And for several months now, the world media and American politicians have been behaving more and more aggressively. In numerous articles, journalists almost announce some kind of Russian military invasion of Ukraine. One of the mouthpieces is Jennifer Psaki. Russian viewers could appreciate her professional level more than once and for various reasons.

But, of course, one cannot take lightly what kind of campaign the United States has now launched. The situation in the Donbass has deteriorated sharply over the past months.

“Now they tell us: war, war, war. One gets the impression that maybe they are preparing a third military operation? And we are warned in advance: do not interfere, do not protect these people. new sanctions will follow. And they are preparing, perhaps, for this, “Vladimir Putin suggests.

And any American statement addressed to Russia now needs to be listened to, while not forgetting: how much truth has Washington told the world over the past 20 years?
