Work on the Vilvoorde viaduct will start in August. For no less than eight years, the extremely busy traffic artery has been overhauled. This will happen in two different phases, each with different consequences for the 180,000 vehicles that drive over it on a working day. How much disruption is expected? Can’t they work a little faster? And will the viaduct have an extra lane after the works?
