how apartments and savings are selected

The scams are getting more and more sophisticated. Phone scammers put on convincing performances for their victims. Represented by law enforcement officers. People acting as if under hypnosis lose their apartments and savings. It is extremely difficult to prove the illegality of voluntary-compulsory transactions.

Tatyana Nasedkina can now only look at the windows of her apartment in a house on Litovsky Boulevard, in which she has lived for 25 years, from the street. She was another victim of a wave of unusual phone scams that swept through the capital.

– A policeman calls me, explained the situation, that I am under threat of deprivation not only of my money, but also of the apartment. And the most important thing is that the deputy prosecutor of Moscow called me and explained that fraud comes from Sberbank.

The false police officers said that in order to protect the property, the pensioner needs to get ahead of the villains, that is, to sell the apartment herself, allegedly fictitiously, under the supervision of investigators. Even the document from the prosecutor’s office was so similar to the real one – well, how could you not believe it?!

“According to the document, it turns out that she sold her apartment to these people and transferred her money from the sale of the apartment to them. The amount is quite large, we are talking about 20 million rubles,” said Stanislav Pobedinsky, a lawyer.

And another “fake” document, allegedly from the Bank of Russia, forbade Tatyana Nasedkina to tell anyone about what was happening under pain of prison. Her son found out about everything at the last moment, from the district police officer.

“He called me and said: do you know that your mother sold the apartment? Come, she will be evicted to the street, because new tenants are moving in. I quickly arrive, there is a crowd of people, two realtors,” said Sergey Nasedkin.

“Whether these people participated in the scheme with those people who went to her, we don’t know yet. Tatyana Grigoryevna at the time of the transaction, as I understand it, was little aware of her actions, that is, she was under some kind of hypnosis of these people,” considers Stanislav Pobedinsky, a lawyer.

Incredibly, Tatyana Grigorievna realized that she had been deceived only at the moment of eviction. Indeed, formally, for the police and the court, the transaction for the sale of an apartment looks perfectly clean, and it is almost impossible to prove the impact of intruders on the psyche. Although this is what all the victims of false policemen are talking about.

– I was like a zombie, I walked like a zombie …

Disabled Elena Ogneva and her 70-year-old mother Tatyana Shibanova were thrown out of their apartment by the same strange realtors right into the cold in their bathrobes.

– Can I at least get dressed? Quiet! Let me get dressed!

– Are you a policeman? Do you see what’s happening?!

To lure out money – more than 15 million rubles, the scammers played a real performance. The caller introduced himself as a current FSB general and demanded that the unfortunate women assist in a risky special operation to catch dangerous swindlers. For what it was necessary, of course, to sell the apartment and transfer the money to a secret agent.

“An investigator was constantly on the phone with me, well, supposedly. And he called me three, four times on the phone, wrote where we went, what we are doing, let’s hurry, he didn’t even let me think about anything,” Elena recalls .

Can such a detailed, to the smallest detail, coincidence of criminal schemes in dozens of cases of telephone fraud with fake policemen and FSB agents be accidental? And what really happens to the victims?

“I wouldn’t say the word hypnosis, it’s still a kind of suggestion. Because there are certain techniques that are focused on the fact that I should see some kind of image,” says Sergey Enikolopov, head of the Department of Clinical Psychology of the Scientific Center for Mental Health .

Sergei Enikolopov suggests that scammers do not have paranormal abilities. They simply act according to scripts – special scripts that make the victim suggestible.

“These scripts are developed largely based on what is called NLP, neurolinguistic programming, when certain texts are pronounced, which is quite convincing, clearly acting, as a rule, on the verbal channel, in the ear,” said Sergey Enikolopov.

After a series of our stories, the Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office took control of the investigation of such cases of remote fraud.

“Not a single bank employee, as well as law enforcement officers, ever ask citizens to take part in activities related to the alienation of real estate, obtaining loans, withdrawing funds, as well as transferring them to supposedly safe accounts,” said Lyudmila Nefedova, head of the press – Services of the Prosecutor’s Office of Moscow.

The case of Elena Ogneva and Tatyana Shibanova also moved from a dead center. The other day the court arrested the apartment stolen from them.

“The court ruled that no one would live there until February 25. He put an arrest on this apartment so that they would not sell it to anyone, to other people. What will happen next, we don’t know!” Elena Ogneva said.

And although there are still no suspects in this criminal case, the victims have a hope to return their property.
