Hovocubo and FC Marlène both supply four players for European Championship futsal

National coach Max Tjaden has announced the selection of the Dutch team for the European Championship futsal. Of the fifteen players, no fewer than nine players play for North Holland clubs.

Hovocubo supplies four internationals with Lahcen Bouyouzan, Yoshua St. Juste, Karim Mossaoui and Mats Velseboer. FC Marlène also has four players in the selection with Barry de Wit, Mohamed Attahiri, Amir Molkârâi and Mo Darri. Jamal el Ghannouti of asv Lebo is also part of the selection.

The Netherlands will play in group A against Ukraine, Portugal and Serbia at the European Championship 2022. The European Indoor Football Championship starts on January 19. The matches will be played in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and MartiniPlaza in Groningen. The final will be played on 6 February in the Ziggo Dome.

The European Championship selection consists of the following players: Mohamed Attaibi (FC Marlene), Lahcen Bouyouzan (Hovocubo), Said Bouzambou (FC Eindhoven), Tevfik Ceyar (FCK de Hommel), Mo Darri (FC Marlene), Dennis van den Eijnden ( FC Eindhoven), Jamal el Ghannouti (asv Lebo), Yoshua st Juste (Hovocubo), Manuel Kuijk (FC Eindhoven), Jordany Martinus (FC Eindhoven), Amir Molkârâi (FC Marlene), Karim Mossaoui (Hovocubo), Oualid Saadouni (FC Eindhoven), Mats Velseboer (Hovocubo) and Barry de Wit (FC Marlene).
