The Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL) will have to do without star defenseman Von Miller for the rest of the season.
As head coach Sean McDermott announced according to “ESPN” on Wednesday, the two-time Super Bowl winner has suffered a cruciate ligament tear and has already had surgery.
The Bills put Miller (33) on the injured reserve list last week because of a knee injury. The pass rusher joined Buffalo in March from defending champion Los Angeles Rams and signed a six-year contract with the New York state franchise.
Miller played most of his career for the Denver Broncos (2011-2021) and was named Super Bowl MVP when they won the 2016 title.
